I love this Marnie Print. In addition to being a cutesy baby print, the bold lines and Benguiat typeface give it an air of a Hitchcock Saul Bass baby poster.
Creating my Marnie Print.
First I began with the trees. I created the basic shapes with the pen tool. Then I went along the edge adding the jagged textures. A second tree was added for depth. Next I made the two little love birds and placed them on the design (Hitchcock reference). Then, After creating the swing element, I placed the type. I used a mixture of a carnival style font and my favourite, Ed Interlock.
When I’m not doodling, I work as a creative designer & web developer at Made By Factory. You can get in touch with me at firstname.lastname@example.org
