Every year since 2003 the Fresh Creative Awards have been showcasing innovative & gong worthy work within the creative industry. We were invited by global design agency & in-house ‘design team’ consultants; Make Your Words Work, along with fellow guests, the in-house Design Team for NSPCC.
A Night with the MYWW Team
After digging out our ‘posh frocks’, we headed for the Manchester Piccadilly Hotel. The glamorous interior decor and test tube cocktails, (additionally paired with a sweet station to rival that of Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory) set the fabulous tone for the evening. We sat with Leyya Sattar and also Emma Sexton; Emma Sexton is the founder of Make Your Words Work and was the evening’s presenter of an in-house design team award.
First of all, we tucked into an apt Northern delicacy of bangers & mash! Eccentric host ‘Dr Bunhead’ then got the event into full swing. Dr Bunhead is, of course, a self-respecting Scientist, and hence he wore a white lab coat and carefully performed scientific experiments on stage.
The event was a great success and it was inspiring to see the hard work of other creatives pay off. We proudly cheered on the NSPCC in-house design team; they walked away with the #InHouseRock team of the year award, due to their general rebrand of the NSPCC.
A big thanks to Make Your Words Work™ for allowing us to be part of the evening. We anticipate the next Fresh Creative Awards, returning with a reimagined identity!
